- <H2> The Hillside School is an independent school for students in kindergarten through 8th grade with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, as well as other disabilities that affect learning, i.e. auditory and visual processing disorders, working memory deficits, ADHD, sensory processing disorders.
- <H2> We provide explicit multi-sensory and differentiated instruction embedded with strategies that allow students to experience success. Through integrated academic experiences that focus on individual strengths, students acquire an understanding of learning as a process and utilize assistive technology to help surmount areas of weakness and to augment the curriculum. The nurturing environment of The Hillside School fosters self-awareness, builds self-esteem and promotes self-advocacy skills for use beyond our walls.
